In 2001 Deva Sandipa showed her first Southwest American based work on Canyon Road in Santa Fe.
Inspired by the Native American land and its people from an early age, it seems her conception of the world has always been global, unifying responses to different cultures, where images and ideas combine according to an order which remains mysterious.

These series of paintings reflect the color and ceremony, and the courage underlying nature-based cultures the earth has so miraculously supported.

Sandipa has explored the map of her spirit and in her work the people assume the poetry of their souls, immersed into their natural world.
